Hello! I’m Melanie. Welcome! If you are curious about how God can change a life, then this is the place for you! All through scripture we read of God’s faithfulness, His grace, His power and His incredible mercy. He is in the business of restoration. God can change your story. He certainly changed mine. And He has led me to write this Christian creative writing blog to share and encourage others.

RESTORE

Scripture is filled with stories of Jesus raising the dead, healing the sick, lame, freeing the demon-possessed, teaching, feeding, loving. Stories of Jesus setting people free. 

STORY

It is so easy though, to read God’s Word and just fly through it, never really slowing down or taking in the truths of scripture. As Christian believers, maybe it’s because we’ve read it so many times that it just becomes rote. I know. It happens to me a lot.

What I’ve tried to do is take some of these beautiful stories and put them into a different, creative light, to make us slow us down a bit more, make us think a bit more, and make us love God’s Word a bit more, but never compromise the truth of Scripture. Christian creative writing, if you will. Or it may just be a blog post about life in general.
